Expungements

Attorneys at the Gutheinz Law Firm are dedicated to fighting for those individuals who were wrongfully arrested and for those who desire a second chance. In most cases a juvenile's record can be sealed, a wrongfully arrested person’s record can be expunged, and a person given a deferred adjudication can receive a non-disclosure; providing in each case that the statutory conditions have been met.  Our initial consultation is free, and we will represent you anywhere in the State of Texas. If we accept your case, we will fight to restore your good name. The Gutheinz Law Firm provides all services on a fixed fee, determined prior to acceptance of service.

Acquitted, pardoned, or arrested when charges were not brought.  In a qualifying case, we can file a petition for expungement of your criminal records.

Deferred adjudication:  A person who has successfully completed deferred adjudication may qualify to have their criminal recorded sealed via a petition for non-disclosure.

Juvenile record.  The rules for sealing juvenile records are more liberal then the rules for securing expungements or nondisclosures for adults. The Gutheinz Law Firm will fight to get qualified juvenile cases sealed.
